Why we made a single site license
For the last year our Training Videos plugin has been an agency product. Web designers and care-plan agencies install it on their clients' sites, under their own name, so the client learns WordPress inside the dashboard instead of phoning the agency about every menu change. It works, and agencies kept telling us the same thing: "My clients ask if they can just buy this themselves."
They could not, because the smallest plan covered ten sites. That made no sense for the florist, the nonprofit or the freelance writer who runs exactly one WordPress site and wants the training on it. So we split off a Single Site license. Same plugin, same library, one site, one year, $99.
What you get on your site
Install the plugin and a Training Videos menu appears in the left-hand sidebar of wp-admin. Open it and the course library is there, playing right beside the screen you are trying to use. Pause the lesson, do the step, press play again.
- 11 courses and 80 lessons today, about five hours of video. The flagship WordPress Fundamentals course alone is 52 lessons covering the block editor, pages and posts, menus, media, users and settings. The rest are short plugin courses on tools people actually run, such as Contact Form 7, Autoptimize, Code Snippets and Simple History.

How to set it up
Setup takes about five minutes and needs no developer, no hosting access and no FTP.
Complete the checkout. Your plugin download and license key arrive by email the moment the order goes through.
In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP from your email, and click Activate. If you have never done this before, our guide on installing a WordPress plugin walks through it.
A Training Videos menu appears in the sidebar. Open it, paste the key from your email and save.
Open WordPress Fundamentals, press play on lesson one, and you are on your way. Anyone else with a login on the site will see the same menu.
WordPress 5.8 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, and an administrator login to install the plugin. Any normal host is fine. The full setup guide is in our documentation.
Single Site versus the free courses
If you have followed us for a while you know that most of our WordPress courses are free with a free account on our learning site. So why pay for the plugin?
Three reasons. The plugin puts the lessons inside the site you are working on, so nobody has to leave wp-admin, sign in somewhere else and search. It covers everyone who logs in to your site, not just the one person who created a free account. If you are the only person who touches the site and you are happy switching tabs, the free courses may be all you need. If other people log in, or you want the training to be there the moment someone gets stuck, the plugin is built for that.
