How does online WordPress tutoring work?
Get in touch through the contact page, tell us what you're trying to do, and we'll schedule a Zoom session. We work live on YOUR website — no pre-set curriculum — and you get a recording of the session by the next day.
How much does WordPress tutoring cost?
One-on-one sessions are billed by the hour ($85/hour). Group and business rates are available on request — see the pricing page for the current options.
How long is a session, and how many do I need?
Sessions run from one hour up to four, usually in one- or two-hour blocks. Many people get what they need from a single session; others book a short series to work through a bigger project.
I'm a complete beginner. Is live tutoring right for me?
Yes — beginners get the most out of it, because you skip the frustration of not knowing what to search for. If you'd rather start self-paced, the free tutorials and the free PDF manual cover the fundamentals.
Can I ask anything during a session?
Yes. Themes, plugins, content, settings, troubleshooting — it's your agenda. The only things we don't teach are PHP coding and heavy CSS work.
Do you train teams or more than one person at a time?
Absolutely. We train marketing teams, content editors and business owners — on your own site or a safe practice copy. Contact us or call (844) WP-TUTOR to set up a group session.
Do you help with WordPress multisite?
Yes. We love working with WordPress multisite and administer a number of multisite networks for clients.

Where can I learn WordPress for free?
Start with our free WordPress tutorials — 200+ step-by-step guides — and the free edition of our 65-page WordPress PDF manual. Both are open to everyone, no account required.
What is the unofficial WordPress manual?
A downloadable PDF manual (version 7.0) that walks through WordPress from the dashboard to themes, plugins and maintenance. The free edition is a complete guide; the Deluxe edition adds 30+ extra pages and a year of updates.
Logistics
Do I need to install anything for a session?
No. Sessions run over Zoom in your browser. You just need login access to your WordPress site — or we can provide a practice site.
