Adding a new category in WordPress

Categories are a part of WordPress blog posts. To add category to a blog post, follow the steps below:

Adding a category

STEP 1 : Go to the post where you want to add a category.

STEP 2 : Find the Categories option from the post.

STEP 3 : Click on the +Add New Category button to add a new category and type in name

STEP 4 : Click Publish to save the changes
