In this video you’ll learn how to add a gallery in Gutenberg. It’s much easier than you might think.
A Gallery Block allows you to add a gallery to your pages.
Step 1
Hover your mouse over the Add Block icon (the plus sign in the upper left hand
corner within the Gutenberg editor). Scroll to Common Blocks. Select Gallery.
Step 2
A gallery block will appear. You can either add content by uploading media content from your computer or selecting items from your media gallery.
Step 3
Once you finished uploading your content, you can edit the gallery itself. With the submenu that appears above the block, you can change the alignment of the gallery. An image caption can be added to your images. To do this, click on the image and enter your caption.
Step 4
You can also use the submenu that appears on the right. From there, you can change the number of columns, add a redirect link, and crop images
.
Once you finished editing your gallery, save and publish your page.
