WordPress is taking over the world–
Or at least it feels that way as the web is using this amazing piece of software. Major news outlets, entertainers, government agencies, and so on are using WordPress.
NASA recently published a blog post as to why they use WordPress – you can read the article here – https://wordpress.grc.nasa.gov/about/benefits/
Some of the reasons to run WordPress were:
- Only Basic HTML Experience Required: If you have a knowledge of how to use Microsoft Word, then you can add, update and manage your site’s web pages, as well as add photos and other media
- Search Engine Friendly: The basics of search engine optimization are already configured, including automatic generation of page Title and Description meta tags as well as the quick ability to enhance Description meta tags for any page without having to open up the HTML.
- Built-in Search Engine: Your site users can use the built-in search engine to search for content specific to your site (the “Search This Site” search form found under the left-hand navigation)
[bctt tweet=”If WordPress is good enough for NASA it’s good enough for me.”
It is really interesting that NASA trusts and uses WordPress, but many other people and businesses are still on the fence. I figure if it’s good enough for NASA it’s good enough for me.
