At WP-Tutoring, I am often faced with helping someone who is just starting out with WordPress. While there are tons of amazing plugins out there, the one that I recommend almost immediately is Ultimate Tiny MCE. This plugin makes Visual Editing of WordPress Much easier than the standard Visual Editing that is provided with WordPress.  In fact, this gives a feel much more like Microsoft Word.  Over 50 visual editing buttons can be added.  That is great news for WordPress beginners.  With Tiny MCE you can add:

• Font Family
• Font Size
• Youtube Video Integration
• Superscript/Subscript
• Tables
• Much More…

Ultimate Tiny MCE has a Pro version that is being actively developed- however, the free version is still being maintained by the developers, who realize just how valuable this tool is to the WordPress Community at large.  This plugin really cuts down the learning curve time for beginners to WordPress, and actually gives users a much better way to make their blog pages and posts look great.  Future posts will talk about some of the ways to use Ultimate Tiny MCE to do more advanced things.  Here is a youtube video showing how Ultimate Tiny MCE works.  How did I insert it into this post?  You guessed it, the Ultimate Tiny MCE Plugin!
